"There Is Hope"
Today, I'm going to be talking about my song "There Is Hope". It's a song about how, even in the worst of times, there is always hope. God has a plan and purpose for everyone and everything whether it always seems like it or not.

Now, into the lyrics. :)
(Verse 1)
When you’re being swept away
And you don’t have anything left to say
When you’re sinkin’ fast, fallin’ fast, not knowing where you’ll land
And you’re only holding on by a strand
Line 1 & 2: Sometimes, life seems to just be carrying us away from any happiness or joy that we could've had. Or sometimes, life gives us problems or questions that we can't answer that has us questioning our lives.
Line 3 & 4: Sometimes, life gets really hard or we are just falling away from the solid ground we once had and we don't know how our situations will turn out. Or sometimes, we have a little hope, but we're losing it very quickly.
(Chorus)
There is hope, always hope
Even in the darkest night when you can't find the light
There is hope, always hope
Even when you're lost in doubt and you can't find your way out
There is hope
This is pretty self-explanatory. It's just saying that there is hope. Even when everything feels hopeless, even when you don't know what to do or you are lost in your thoughts and emotions, there will always be hope. And God is that hope.
(Verse 2)
When your last petal falls to the ground
When you start to whither and can't look around
When you're sinkin' fast, fallin' fast, not knowing where you'll land
And you're only holding on by a strand
Line 1 & 2: These two lines are analogies that are about when your last bit of happiness is gone, or all positivity and hope and light fades away.
And the next two lines are the same as verse 1.
It goes to the chorus again and then to the bridge.
(Bridge)
Hope is like a lighthouse showing the way
Hope is like the last man standing today
Hope is like the signs of the coming Spring
And hope is like a promise that's ready to bring... (x2)
So, the bridge is 4 metaphors of what hope is like.
Line 1: Hope is like a lighthouse because, on a stormy night, the lighthouse can give a ship that feels like it may not make it hope.
Line 2: In a game, when your team has one person left, you are most likely trying to cheer them on and encourage them. They are your hope of still maybe winning or reaching the goal.
Line 3: Sometimes, after a long winter, you just want it to be over. So the signs of Spring are hope that the winter will be over.
Line 4: When someone promises something, you have hope of whatever they promised.
Then it goes back to the chorus but starts with "Bring hope, always hope".
And that's the lyrics :)
I hope that made sense. It is pretty self-explanatory anyways. But I'm just not great at explaining things so yeah haha.
I hope you all have an amazing and safe rest of your day or night or whatever time it is for you, and yeah :)
If you have any prayer requests, you can leave them in the comments. And if you have anything else to say or share, you can leave them in the comments. :)
